About the Competition:
The Lopez Spotlight Talent Competition was established as a premiere vocal competition in search of the BEST vocal talent in the Washington Metropolitan area. The goal of this yearly competition is to provide exposure to aspiring performers that will perhaps lead to the launch of many future careers. Click here to read how it all began. The Competition:
Our 8 finalists will perform 1 song of their choosing. The winner will be decided by a combination of the audience vote and our 3 judges. Finalists will be judged on vocal talent, performance skills, and overall marketability. Each audience member will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite performer by paper/pencil ballot. Each ticket holder will receive their ballot as they enter. The winner of The Lopez Spotlight Talent Competition will take home the American Idol Dream Ticket! Let the Competition begin!
