 SHAILA SEQUEIRA - Piano Instructor
Shaila Sequeira loves music, dance, kids, and the performing arts, and is excited to be joining Lopez Studios for her fourth year.
Shaila has studied music through the Trinity College of Music, London, UK. Her first stint at teaching kids the piano started when she was studying for her Teachers Diploma (ATCL) in music. She taught children privately for 3 years to help them prepare for the early grades in conservatory music and helped organize annual piano recitals for her students.
While studying music, Shaila also learned Jazz Ballet under one of India’s leading choreographers, Shiamak Davar. She danced with one of the leading groups in Bombay, India, and performed at major events such as the Asian Games.
Shaila put her music and dance career on hold to pursue another of her passions – travel. She worked for several years in the airline industry.
