Students Shine through Arts Instruction
Facets of Development
All of Lopez Studios’ programs integrate four basic principles of development that capitalize on the skill-building qualities inherent to arts instruction. Through instruction at Lopez Studios, students are encouraged to develop the following facets through interactive instruction, practice, sharing, and performance.
CHARACTER: Producing positive qualities and attributes that shape and prepare students for effective service and ministry.
Galatians 5:22-23 "but the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control..."
INTEGRITY: Producing students who make sound decisions by a firm adherence to a code of moral and artistic values, which include honesty and virtue.
Psalm 25:21 "May integrity and uprightness protect me, because my hope is in you."
DISCIPLINE: Producing students who have an appreciation for an honest work ethic, as well as order and self-control.
2 Timothy 2:15 "Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth."
SERVICE: Producing students who learn the value of giving back to their peers, family, and community.
Luke 12:48 "...from everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded; and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked."
