NOREEN DUFFY-LUKK – Office Administrator

Noreen grew up in Spokane, Washington, where she started her performing career in her church's children's choir at the age of four. She performed on-stage with Spokane Children's Theater, Express Theater Northwest, and Spokane Christian Youth Theater. In high school, she took up the upright bass, playing in the music ministry, the Spokane Youth Orchestra, and serving as bassist for the Gonzaga Preparatory High School Jazz Band for four years, including a performance as a 1st Place Jazz Ensemble at the Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival. In 2004, the Noreen Duffy Trio provided original music for the Gonzaga University production of Dead Man Walking. Noreen also took home a silver medal for Vocal Performance at Musicfest Northwest 2006, and toured Brasil, Argentina and Uruguay with The Spokane Area Children's Chorus.

Since moving to the DC Metro area, Noreen has worked as library assistant for DC Public Schools, office manager for a Mexican restaurant, and receptionist for a commercial leasing agency. Noreen is excited to be joining the staff at Lopez Studios, Inc for the 2011-2012 season, where she can finally unite her passion for the arts with her administrative experience. She lives in Reston with her husband Erik, a small cat, and two energetic ferrets.
