After School Program Schedule & Class Descriptions
Jump Start
When students are transported from their school and dropped-off at the studio, they will have 3 activity options before classes begin based on the parent’s request and the desire of the student. See below!
Quiet Study Zones
There will be 3 designated “Quiet Study Zone” areas where students can start and finish their homework in a supervised setting as well as participate in quiet reading. Students will also have access to our library and resource center when needed.
Game Room
In our Game Room students will have access to video games, a variety of board games, puzzles, legos and much more.
Movie Room
Students can watch select movies and have access to snacks from our portable “Snack Bar”.

Classes for Grades K -3rd
Kidz on Broadway
A Music Theater class for young vocalist, Kidz on Broadway focuses on developing each student’s Broadway repertoire. Students will learn old and new favorites straight from the Great White Way, taught in a fun and exciting environment for young performers. You will find yourself humming along with the Broadway standards you know so well, but your child is singing for the first time.
Kidz Acting Up
Kidz Acting Up is geared towards expanding the creative capacities of younger performers. Using stories children all over the world know and love, students will explore the physical and emotional life of characters at an age-appropriate level. Without realizing it, the young players will be learning the basics of acting as they discover for themselves how different characters move, sound, and feel!
Rhythm Band
Students will explore rhythm through music and movement using shakers, beanbags, lummi sticks, tambourines and much more!
Classes for Grades 4th-6th
Music Theater Acting
This course will teach young actors how to approach a song as if it were a monologue, as well as how to perform while singing and/or dancing. These students will be Broadway Bound in no time!

Handbells/Boom Whackers
Students will be using a 15 Note Handbell Set as well as a full scale Boom Whacker Set to explore the C major scale, play some great tunes, and develop note reading and rhythmic skills!
Characterization
This class will teach students a tried-and-true method of approaching a role that will manifest itself in a more magnetic performance onstage. Using the Stanislavsky system, students will learn how to touch an audience by transforming their voice, face, and body into that of a specific character.

Classes for All Groups
Group Voice Class
Students will enjoy group voice lessons while learning the fundamentals of proper singing, breathing, technique, and performing skills! Students will also explore many genres of music such as art songs, music theater, vocal jazz, pop, and R&B to name a few!
Beginning Piano
Students will be introduced to the fundamentals of learning to play the piano including music theory, note reading, composition, and performance in a group setting. (access to a keyboard at home is recommended for practice)
Theater Games
Students will have fun with a variety of theater games to sharpen their skills such as improvisation, cold readings, and public speaking at an age appropriate level. Let the GAMES begin!
Sub-Upgrade
Any of the above Class Blocks may be substituted and upgraded to either private or semi-private lessons in Acting, Piano, or Voice. “Sub-Upgrades” are subject to availability and additional fees!
Pack-up/Clean-up
The last 10 minutes of the program will be for clean-up and pack-up!
