Why Our Performing Arts After School Program?
Lopez Studios, Inc. Performing Arts School has been offering premium arts related programs to the community for 16 years. We have had over 2500 students enter our doors to participate in our music and theater programs. In addition, hundreds of students have made Lopez Studios, Inc. a major part of their summer recreation. Our tradition of excellence through quality instruction, character education, attention to detail, and qualified staff has made us a trusted partner in providing arts related programs for the community. Lopez Studios, Inc. offers the ONLY Performing Arts After School Program of its kind in Northern Virginia!

What Are The Benefits Of Our Program?
As our schedule’s have become busier with school, homework, and other activities, so have the demands of parents to juggle these schedules and still find time for family. The latest educational research indicates that music and the arts correlates to the development of skills in other core subjects. Research has also shown that the arts powerfully encourages self-esteem, self-expression, creativity, and self-discipline. Our After School Program provides just one more convenient way for children to experience and enjoy the arts while lessening the demand of parents to get their children to such activities! We are here for you!

Who Can Participate?
Our After School Program is available for students in K through 6th Grade. We provide transportation from select neighboring schools to our facility within a 10 mile radius.  Students may also be dropped off at the studio in order to participate in the program. We also accommodate “Drop-in Participation” on an as needed basis when space is available.

When Is The After School Program Offered?
The After School Program is offered during the regular school season generally from September to June. The hours of operation are 3:30PM to 6:30PM Tuesday through Friday and 1:00PM to 6:30PM on Mondays in order to accommodate Fairfax County Public School Early dismissal. See our yearly calendar for details.

Local Schools We Transport From
We are currently scheduled to transport from the following schools within our local area:

Academy of Christian Education Lake Anne Elementary
Aldrin Elementary Sunrise Valley Elementary
Forest Edge Elementary Terraset Elementary
Hunters Woods Elementary

A minimum of 3 students per school will be required for transportation service. If you would like your school added to the list, please contact us at 703-787-0071 or info@lopezstudios.org.

What Is The Cost of the Program and What Does It Include?
The cost of the program depends on the number of days you request per week. The cost can be as little as $35 per week for 1 day to $99 per week for a full week (5 days).  Tuition includes transportation from select schools, extended hours on Mondays, all performing arts enrichment classes, highly qualified staff, supervised homework, complimentary studio bag and folder, access to game and movie rooms, and our year-end performance & reception for family and friends.

Our Capacity
Our maximum capacity is 32 students per day. These numbers are further limited to 16 students per age group: 16 students for K through 3rd grade and 16 students for 4th through 6th grade. This capacity allows us to give individual attention to each participant affording them greater opportunity to enhance their learning. Registration is on a first come first serve basis!

How Do I Register?

  1. Review our schedule of classes and decide which days you would like to participate.

  2. Check for availability to confirm there are still openings for your requested days and age group. (703-787-0071 x100 or info@lopezstudios.org)

  3. Complete the After School Program Registration Forms and submit to our Admissions Office with your registration fee and tuition deposit to hold your space.

  4. Your space will be reserved. WELCOME to Lopez Studios, Inc. After School Program!
